  April 2023 - Today

  • Implemented and co-designed Discovery API, which enables a state-of-the-art technique for constraining the search space.
  • Refactored and migrated searches for allowing unique queries like multiple vectors at once, right down to the core scoring.
  • Created a new boolean index, making queries depending on such values much faster.
  • Developed grouping api, which allows to group vectors by a payload field.

  • Created a .NET API from scratch, employing the CQRS design pattern, infrastructure like Stripe and SendGrid, and deploying to Azure.

• Fullstack MLH Fellow @ Solana

  May - Aug 2022

  • Worked closely with 4 other fellows to create Solana Grants, a website to make open-source public goods financially stable.
  • Designed and implemented the smart contract built with Anchor (Solana's Rust framework).
  • Built the frontend for the summary card and detail view of every grant

  • Wrote countless automated Selenium tests to migrate from manual testing that took weeks to perform, to a few hours.
  • Implemented CI with Jenkins to run these test automatically at midnight in a private server.

  • Contributed to the core of the library by adding a new "match any" operator to the filter interface. This was my ticket into the company.

  • Did the front-end of the web application to help with the measurement of nanofibers at a research level using deep learning to infer the positions and size of such fibers.
  • Every part of this web app (even the trained model) runs in the browser to allow researchers to use it without compromising the images.

  • Had 4 PRs merged. The most important of those helped transition the custom logger layer to use tracing automatically for every framework instead of traditional logging.

Interests

I love rock climbing (max 5.13d), running (max 100k), and playing the guitar and the drums. But mostly climbing 🧗.
